MUTED FLORALS + A CREST FOR AN ONTARIO WEDDING

As I’ve stated before, one of my favorite parts of designing an invitation suite is seeing how couples infuse their personalities and favorite things into the design…i.e. PETS! ha. You know when someone tells me they have four pets to include I’m going to jump on that opportunity!  For this suite, we did the design and florals in a muted palette which helped keep a formal appearance. The bride, Sarah, had the idea to print the crest on the back which I thought was a fun idea, the pets were subtle and we kept with the color scheme to make everything flow together.  All elements were painted with gouache and printed on linen card stock.  I used paper source ‘soft white’ envelopes with the same grey gouache to hand paint the guests addresses on the envelopes.
